China became the earth's largest new auto marketplace in 2009

This article is a list of countries past the number of road motor vehicles per 1,000 inhabitants. This includes cars, vans, buses, and freight and other trucks; merely excludes motorcycles and other ii-wheelers.

China has the largest fleet of motor vehicles in the world in 2021, with 302 million cars,[ane] and in 2009 became the world's largest new automobile marketplace also.[2] [3] In 2011, a total of 80 meg cars and commercial vehicles were congenital, led by Prc, with 18.iv one thousand thousand motor vehicles manufactured.[iv]
